Our Story
It started on a mountain trail in 2023. Our founder, an avid trail runner and former Apple audio engineer, found himself constantly switching between sunglasses, clear lenses, and wireless earbuds during his training. "There has to be a better way," he thought - a single device that could seamlessly adapt to changing conditions while keeping athletes connected.That moment of frustration sparked a revolution. We assembled a team of optical engineers from Zeiss, audio specialists from Bose, and material scientists who had worked on NASA's next-generation spacesuit visors. Together, we set out to create the world's most intelligent sports eyewear.
The Breakthrough
For 18 months, one challenge seemed insurmountable: the custom chipset controlling our electrochromic lenses and audio system kept overheating. Most investors advised us to abandon the integrated approach.
Then, one late night in our Shenzhen lab, lead engineer Dr. Wei Zhang had an insight - what if we treated thermal management as an audio engineering problem? By repurposing acoustic damping principles into a novel heat dissipation system, we finally cracked the code. That breakthrough became the heart of every Brief AI product.
